In order to guarantee a safe flight, the following persons are NOT allowed to participate in the activity:

  • Cannot be approached with decreased normal alertness
  • No luggage, sharp weapons or firearms are allowed on board.

Itinerary

6 am

Arrival at the BALLOON FLYING airport. Our staff will welcome you and we will start with the biosecurity protocol (temperature, use of antibacterial gel and mouth cover).

6 to 6:30 am

Registration and Coffee Break. We register your data and proceed to take your snack on our terrace while you watch how we prepare your balloon.

6:30 to 7 am

Boarding. Your pilot or staff will call out the name of the balloon. At this time the pilot will give safety instructions.

7 to 7:45 am

Balloon flight. Begin the wonderful experience of flying over the skies of Teotihuacan surrounded by other balloons and from there be able to observe the entire archaeological site.

7:45 a 8:30

Landing and return to the balloon airport. Once on the ground, the toast ceremony takes place and we return to Volar en Globo's facilities.

8:30 to 9 am

Certificates, photos and souvenirs. In the photo area we will show you the photos of your flight and you will be able to buy souvenirs in our souvenir store. The experience ends with the presentation of certificates and farewell.

What time are the flights?
The flights are very early in the morning, the appointment is around 6 am at our BALLOON FLYING airport.
How far are you from Mexico City?
Our airport is located approximately 60 km from Mexico City, approximately 1 hour from downtown.
Do you have transportation service from Mexico City?
Yes, the cost of round trip transportation from downtown Mexico City is $500 per person. In case your hotel or Airbnb is in the downtown area, we will pick you up directly there, otherwise you will have to go to a central location.

How many people can fit per balloon?
We have more than 18 aircraft with different capacities, ranging from 2 to 16 passengers.
Can children fly?
Of course, children as young as 4 years old can live the experience of FLYING IN A BALLOON.
How long does the activity last?
Total duration of the activity is approximately 3 hours.
Transportation, breakfast and view of the Pyramids will be added extra time.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend you to book a week in advance to ensure availability, although you can book from one day to the next as long as we have places available. Please note that Private Flights are the first to sell out.
How should I dress?
We recommend that you bring a sweater, jeans, a mask, tennis shoes or closed-toed shoes since it is usually cold in the mornings in Teotihuacán.
