Thank you for choosing the services of www.volarenglobo.com.mx , this website is offered to you, the Customer, subject to your acceptance, without any modification, of the terms, conditions and notices contained in this document. Your use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by all the terms, conditions and notices contained herein.
In order to improve the Service provided to our Passengers, Volar en globo, Aventura y Publicidad may change and/or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, either partially or wholly, with the Terms and Conditions published on the website being applicable. www.volarenglobo.com.mx (the “Site”) at the time the Service is provided. Regardless of any changes to these Terms and Conditions, Volar en globo, aventura y publicidad will respect the conditions in effect at the time the Reservation contracted by the Passenger was paid for, except in the cases and with the exceptions established by applicable law.
1. Definitions.
Adult: Any person who is 18 (eighteen) years old or older on the scheduled date of the flight, regardless of their sex or nationality.
Call Center (Telephone support center): The area dedicated to telephone communication, whether inbound or outbound, with Passengers, business partners, associated companies, among others, managed by specialized staff with the necessary physical and technological resources, based on defined processes and procedures to address the needs of the Passenger.
Sales Channels: The various technological platforms, affiliate network, Call Center and/or authorized physical points of sale for the confirmation of reservations.
Official Identification: The following documents will be considered Official Identification:
- Valid passport, voter ID card, professional license, ID card from the Mexican Social Security Institute (Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social) or from the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers (Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado), permits issued by the National Institute of Migration (Instituto Nacional de Migración), identification issued by the National Institute for Older Adults (Instituto Nacional de las Personas Adultas Mayores), as well as any identification document issued by a federal authority that contains the Passenger's full name and photograph.
- Any identification document issued by a government authority that contains the Passenger's full name and photograph (for example, driver's licenses).
The aforementioned documents must be presented in original, physical form; photocopies, photographs, and scans of any document will not be accepted, except in those cases in which the Passenger presents a certified copy of a statement of facts or complaint filed with the corresponding public prosecutor's office, in which the theft or loss of the Passenger's Official Identification is expressly indicated and it is stated that the Passenger does not have any other Official Identification in accordance with the foregoing; such statement of facts and/or complaint will only be valid when it is not older than 3 (tres) months from the scheduled date of the flight.
Infant(s): Refers to any person under 4 (four) years of age on the day of the scheduled flight. Infants who participate in the hot air balloon flight activity will have a discounted fare and may only take part in the activity on a private flight.
Minor(s): Any person under 12 (twelve) years of age on the scheduled date of the flight, regardless of sex or nationality, will have a preferential rate when participating in the activity.
Passenger(s): Individual and/or natural persons who contracted and/or used or will use the Service with Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad.
Passengers with disabilities: It refers collectively to Passengers with Physical Disability, Intellectual Disability, Psychosocial Disability and Sensory Disability.
Passengers with Physical Disability: It refers to people who have a reduction in their ability to move or difficulty performing conventional motor activities, either partially or fully. This type of disability can affect the upper limbs, lower limbs, or both.
Passengers with Intellectual Disabilities: It refers to any person who has limitations in the abilities to understand, interact with the environment and/or to function autonomously and independently; that is, people with intellectual disabilities have difficulties with adaptive behaviors and responding to different situations. These limitations appear in areas such as mobility, perception, comprehension, language, the handling and use of money, as well as emotional skills; however, if the environment provides appropriate supports, a person with an intellectual disability will be able to function effectively in their environment.
Passengers with Psychosocial Disability: Any person who suffers from restrictions caused by the social environment and that are centered on a temporary or permanent mental impairment, which can lead to a change in the perception of things and people, self-perception and self-esteem; therefore the way in which Passengers with Psychosocial Disability adapt to and relate with their environment also changes.
Passenger with Sensory Disability: It refers to people who have lost their vision or hearing, as well as to those who have difficulty communicating or using language.
Reservation: The transaction for the purchase of a spot on the hot air balloon through the various Sales Channels, which ensures the proper registration of the Passengers who will use the air transportation Services.
Additional Services: It refers to those services marketed and offered in addition to Air Transportation Services, which are optional for the Passenger, such as ground transportation, breakfast, and others.

Rate(s): The consideration that the Passenger will pay to Volar en globo, aventura y publicidad for the provision of the Service, including the Base Fare, the type of flight chosen by the passenger; as well as the Additional Services if they apply. The Fare may vary according to the conditions, availability and/or Additional Services selected by the Passenger.
Authorized takeoff zone: Launch area for aerostats that include(s) suitable facilities and services for the reception and dispatch of hot-air balloons.

At Volar en Globo, Aventura y publicidad we offer different types of packages for balloon flights, which can be purchased by Passengers according to their specific needs. Below, we describe what each of our flight types includes:

4. Passengers with Disabilities.
Volar en globo, Aventura y publicidad will, to the extent possible, provide the facilities within its reach to all Passengers with Disabilities who require them. In cases where a Passenger with a Disability requires special services or accommodations on board the aircraft of Volar en Globo, Aventura y publicidad, it is recommended that Volar en Globo, Aventura y publicidad be informed of the characteristics of the service and/or special accommodation required at least 48 (forty-eight) hours prior to the scheduled time of the flight, so that Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad can properly attend to the special request and be able to verify the availability of such service and/or accommodation, potentially identifying possible limitations in the provision of the air transportation service.
Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad allows Passengers with Disabilities to transport a wheelchair and any other device they own to support their mobility, such as a walker, prosthesis, crutches, cane, or any other instrument that the Passenger must use to support their disability. However, it will not be the obligation of Volar en globo staff to provide Passengers with Disabilities assistance to move to and from the restrooms, to eat, and/or for any matter related to personal hygiene.
5. Pregnant women
At Volar en Globo, Aventura y publicidad we are concerned about the safety of all our Passengers, so we recommend that our female Passengers who wish to take part in the activity and are pregnant consult with their physician before undertaking any flight, as well as notify the staff of Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad during the Reservation process for better assistance.
Volar en Globo will not be responsible in the event that any contingency and/or situation arises during the flight related to the Passenger's pregnancy status.
6. Minor Passengers
No minor may travel while responsible for another minor, regardless of whether a family or any other type of relationship exists.
For their safety, minors under 18 (eighteen) years of age may not use the air transportation Service without being accompanied by an Adult. If the Adult is not one of the Minor's parents or guardians, a release form must be completed, which can be requested at our reception desk when completing the registration process.
7. Weight restrictions
Because of the nature of aircraft, they must be subject to weight and balance control; therefore the seller will request the weight in kilograms (kg) or pounds (lb) of each passenger participating in the activity, in order to assign the number of seats required for their reservation. The weight established for a standard fare is up to 100 (one hundred) kilograms.
If a passenger exceeds the allowed weight, they must pay a fee of $40.00 (Forty pesos 00/100 m.n.) for each additional kilogram (after converting pounds to kilograms). Under no circumstances will boarding be denied to a passenger with excess weight, provided the amounts mentioned are paid to allow proper seat assignment.
8. Pets.
Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad allows the Passenger to transport their Pet (only dogs) under the Passenger's full responsibility, provided it is done within an individual backpack-type carrier owned by the Passenger, which must be made of rigid material, have a waterproof floor covered with absorbent material and be specifically designed for this purpose, in which the Pet can move freely inside, lie down, turn around and stand up. Likewise, the carrier must be in optimal condition to ensure the proper transportation and safety of the Pet.
The service is limited to 1 domestic animal per flight, must not exceed 10 kg, and the passenger must pay the fee for the service.
9. Reservation policy
The rates shown on the Website www.volarenglobo.com.mx will be maintained only if the user books and complies with the specified payment policies; otherwise the rates may vary. A booking is considered complete when the passenger has provided all necessary information and has the confirmation number. At the time of booking, the passenger authorizes Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad to validate the card details provided during the transaction and expressly confirms that they know and accept the Terms and Conditions, as well as the privacy policy of Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad. All reservations are subject to availability at the time your request is processed. In some cases, availability must be verified before the booking confirmation is made.
10. Safety on our flights.
Volar en globo, Aventura y publicidad, reserves at its sole discretion the right to deny boarding to any person who may pose a current or potential risk to the safety of the aircraft and/or other Passengers such as:
- People who are intoxicated.
- People under the influence of psychotropic drugs (except in the case of medications, upon presentation of a prescription issued by a doctor and with prior notification to Volar en globo staff at the time of making their reservation).
In such cases, Volar en globo, aventura y publicidad will notify the Passenger in question of the decision to exercise its right to deny them boarding and the reasons on which that decision is based, and will consequently file the corresponding report describing the situation and the reasons for which it reserves the right to deny boarding.
In the case of persons under the influence of any psychotropic, alcoholic, or any other substance that alters the Passenger’s behavior (except in the case of medications upon presentation of a prescription issued by a physician and prior notification to the staff of Volar en globo, aventura y publicidad at the time of check-in), Volar en globo, aventura y publicidad will not be responsible for issuing any refunds of the Rates and amounts paid, as it presumes that the Passenger is solely responsible for their physical and psychological condition at the time of boarding the flight.
These types of security measures shall in no case be understood as intended to annul or undermine the rights, freedoms, or equality of individuals, nor to infringe upon their dignity, and are solely intended to safeguard the safety of the other Passengers, to ensure a peaceful and uneventful flight.
10. Disclaimer.
We do not declare, warrant, agree, or make any covenant that everything you find here is free of errors, complete, or accurate. Neither we nor the consultants of this site will be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from accessing or using this site.
YOU AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THIS SITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE CONTENT AND SERVICES PROVIDED BY THIS SITE ARE PROVIDED TO YOU “AS IS”. Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad does not guarantee that this site, nor any site linked to it, nor the server that provides it, are free of computer viruses.
Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad strives, however, to keep the information as up-to-date as possible in order to offer its clients/users the greatest possible peace of mind when using such information and to carry out constant monitoring of the servers for security verification.
10. Limitations of liability.
Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad will not be held liable for damages of any kind, including, without limitation, special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages arising from access to or the inability to access this site, nor for the use of, or reliance on, this site or its content, nor for any damage resulting from the loss of use, data or profits, whether or not advised of the possibility of such damages and under any theory of liability. In addition, Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad is not obligated to update the site or its content. It cannot be held liable for any failure to update such content.
The information provided by Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad reserves the right to make changes, corrections and/or improvements to the information, and to the products and programs described in the information, without prior notice and at any time.
11. Legal Basis.
These Terms and Conditions and any Service and/or product provided by Volar en Globo, Aventura y Publicidad shall be governed by the provisions of the Civil Aviation Law, the Federal Consumer Protection Law and other applicable laws.
